Thanks that thread resolved my two issues.
First I modified .bash_profile in /usr/local/slimserver so it's like
that:

PATH=$PATH:/usr/libexec:$HOME/bin
export PATH
unset USERNAME
--------------------
then I replaced errmsg.sys furnished in mysql of slimserver with one of
FC7 mysql distribution and now slimserver starts and works :D
