Using the development version of the slimserver software, the runtime
compile of the Perl scripts fails:

The machine that I am running on is a dual boot Windows XP SP2 /Kubuntu
Feisty Fawn setup. The Squeezebox runs perfectly with XP. This
establishes that the hardware and its configuration are good. The
problem is with the Linux software and/or its configuration.
