What are the permissions on the directory '/home/felles/Media/Musikk/Rippet' (on the server)? What is the umask there? I am not that skilled as linux admin and really out of ideas now... Certainly on a dedicated ubuntu forum there are more skilled people around, maybe ppost the problem there....
