Hmmm...the url tag doesn't return any results, though. So in trying the folder_id tag...
"musicfolder 0 50<LF>" gives me folder ids for the 1st 50 folders in the music root directory. >From this result I can see the podcast folder_id is 21735 "musicfolder 0 50 folder_id:21735<LF>" tells me the 2008 folder_id is 21736 "musicfolder 0 50 folder_id:21736<LF>" returns a list of all the files in the 2008 folder and *should* update the database It looks the folder_id for /podcast/2008 will remain static even if folders are added or removed elsewhere in the library. At least I hope so - I'm guessing it would take a 2-hour clear&rescan to find out for sure. I would like to know the syntax for using the url tag, though. Seems like the musicfolder command prefers the url tag. -- Pale Blue Ego ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pale Blue Ego's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=110 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49213 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
