After I install ubuntu server 8.10, once, twice, three, four, five times... ...after fixing the my cpu is too old, ...after fixing the grub error 18, ...after fixing the squeezecenter 7.2.1 restarting problem,
it works great, and I love it! CPU too old = use generic kernel which doesn't use pae extensions. Grub Error 18 = Old Mobo bios, create a smaller boot parition in the first 1024(or whatever it was) cylinders Squeezecenter Restarting = apt-get install libfreetype6 (could also use: apt-get install libgd-gd2-perl I heard later).
