Whoosh!! You are my new hero. I copied my original softsqueeze.jnlp back to the /softsqueeze folder, then looked for the "preferences" tab you mentioned the next time I started SoftSqueeze, and changed the setting for the SqueezeCenter to the computer name as it appears on my network and voile, all of a suddent I have SoftSqueeze working.
The computer/software changed the setting from the desktop user name to the IP address of that box (192.168.0.106) but that's cool. I guess it was messing around with the .jnlp file that screwed things up. I play to install the mp3 plugin for Java after I've listened to my music for awhile . . . Thanks again. -- gmachine_24 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gmachine_24's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3999 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57097 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
