Double blink and no sound usually means the "Name of audio stream device" in Settings which is normally set to hw:1,0 - should be something else.
First - check that the setting "hw:1,0" definitely doesn't work. No need for restart. Check that digits one (1) and zero (0) are used not letter l or letter O.
