Yes, you can bridge wireless back onto a wired network in your house
from your neighbor. The is called wireless bridging. DD-WRT and Tomato
that run on the wrt-54GL both support this.  Just change the wireless
settings from Wireless Mode to Client Bridge mode. I would recommend
setting static IP addresses for all your stuff. That way you won't have
to rely on your neighbor router for DCHP. Just have him give you a block
of 5 or 6 IP addresses he is not using.
