Yes. When I bought my iPod (which I've hardly ever used) about four years ago, I dabbled with iTunes (HATE THAT PROGRAM) and allowed it to rip CD's with AAC-LC, aka .m4a . I've never had a problem until recently when trying to play them on the Squeezebox. They do nothing BUT stutter. Since I am slowly re-ripping everything to FLAC, I'm just making the albums I have in m4a format the priority, because they're impossible to play.
