When you say you can't open the plugins tab is there any information in the log as to what is going on? If you're able to at least see the settings interface then Squeezebox Server (SBS) is using the IP address you're expecting (presumably, depending on how you've got those two interfaces wired up), and I don't think a failure of just the plugins page would indicate anything fundamental like IP address issues.
On my test server I can access the plugins page and see things under the internet radio section (eg "Staff Picks"). I would initially check the logs to see if there are any clues (/var/log/squeezeboxserver/server.log). I've not checked, but I think SBS might bind to all addresses by default - I can certainly reach it from both the public IP address (eg 192.168.0.1) and the loopback interface (127.0.0.1).
