no, i did a fresh install of 10.10, added the package details to sources.list file. 7.5.2 installed fine, 7.5.3 (my first upgrade under 10.10) won't install via gui. I can't find anywhere in the options of the gui to allow it to proceed, there is just no choice in the msgbox that comes up saying it won't install.
