Heh. It's pretty straight-forward, really. Just a load of layers and abbreviations. 1. Combine two physical drives with mdadm to create a mirror (an MD device, RAID 1) 2. Label the MD device an LVM Physical Volume (PV). 3. Create an LVM Volume Group (VG) using the PV. 4. Create one or more LVM Logical Volumes (LVs) inside the VG 5.
