Indeed, once buildme.sh is finished (if not interrupted by an error), you hsould find a build/arch/5.XX/yourOS/auto dir, which contains CPAN modules freshly built for your system. You should find Media/Scan.so Maybe it's in some other place... search it in the whole build dir (find ./build -name Scan.so)
