I made myself an embarrassingly simple start-up script :D I'm no linux jedi now squeezlite starts at boot with no user logged in
I put the program in /opt ? This probably lacks some functionality and niceties you should probably deamonize or something? I put it in /etc/init.d and symlinked to rc2.d rc3.d ,rc4.d ,rc5.d I started to read the manual about upstart which you are supposed to use instead in ubuntu and mint but that made for a good headache . Someone debian/ubuntu/mint savy may give a pointer to a "proper" install location and a better starup script :) But i'm happy to have it like this while squeelite still is a alpha/beta project . Supose triode want's some more testing before an eventual deb package etc . I'm not sure I want to share my script is like a blind leading a blind over a cliff..... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
