Many thanks indeed for adding this! It helps a lot. It works but doesn't seem completely robust... Imprecise elaboration (sorry, can't investigate in detail right now but could do tomorrow): 1) when I try to start the player if the device is opened by another application, squeezelite crashes. Would it be possible to "refuse" to switch on instead? Or to retry after a delay? (Perhaps we do want a command line option for this behaviour.) 2) sometimes squeezelite seems to grab the audio device but lose connection with LMS (and not be playing anything). The player doesn't appear in the web interface. Maybe 2) is unrelated and I haven't pinned down exactly how it happens, but it happened several times this afternoon. I was playing music on Squeezelite and synced with some hardware players, turned things on/off and restarted the server.
