Got tired of waiting for the port to be updated so decided to pull down
the FreeBSD tgz and give it a shot.
Running FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE & Perl 5.14.2. When I start the server, I
get the following error:

You should never need to do this if you're on Windows or Mac OSX. If the
installers
don't work for you, ask for help and/or report a bug.

I went through this before and installed all the modules using MCPAN but
finally got hung up on Media::Scan. So I am running buildme.sh now and
am not sure what needs to be done afterwards. I'm not holding my breath
it will fix it without further beating it into submission. Every time I
have to fiddle with this thing I ponder migrating to Linux... painful.
Theres got to be a better way...
