Just in case anyone finds this post with the same problem, I've tracked this down with Mr RockyRaccoon and the solution turned out to be to wipe the cache under (on Gentoo) /var/lib/logitechmediaserver/cache. We took the brute force approach and removed the whole cache contents, but I suspect that just removing the files in the 'templates' subdirectory of the cache would have been enough.
