I did a build of CPAN code this morning and got 7.7.2 (installed from the Logi rpm) working on F18. Extract the tgz to /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/arch. You'll also need to replace /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/Class/XSAccessor.pm and /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Control/Request.pm with the attached versions. I cant attach the tgz. Guess it doesn't like the fact that it is 4MB.
