@Steen I think that you could add it if you want to a /lib/firmware directory.
I downloaded the source for the driver from http://www.mediatek.com/_en/07_downloads/01_windows.php?sn=501 . The file is for RT2870USB(RT2870/RT2770) and the rt2870.bin file is located in the src directory if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if my solution is the "proper" one, I could not find a firmware-ralink.tcz file for Tiny Core so I used brute force. @Johnyb62 Did you check the output from the dmesg command? If not, boot the Pi without the USB card and check the output from the dmesg command after you have plugged in the device. If the firmware is missing you will most likely have an error message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fiatelis's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60087 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
