picoplayer 1.09 uses version 1.3 of squeezelite which doesn't support sending the audio to stdout. The current 'output branch version 1.4 of squeezelite' (https://code.google.com/p/squeezelite/source/list?name=output) does have this feature, you'd need to compile it and replace the squeezelite-armv6hf binary.
