Sorry I missed you question.

Yes, I've got a stock Fedora 20 x86_64 desktop (with RPMFusion Repo's
added) and I install the squeezelite and jivelite clients so I can play
music on my desktop.  I also use the same combination on some Raspberry
Pi's I've got around the house (running Arch) using touchscreens.  I did
a short tutorial on Instructuable here:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Wall-Mounted-SqueezePlayer-with-Raspberry-Pi/.
I run my logitechmediaserver on my home server, which is currently on
Fedora 19.  I've considered moving the media server to something
lower-powered, but since the home server is on all of the time anyway
(it runs Asterisk, MythTV and a few other things), it probably doesn't
make much sense.
