Hi Greg First thank you very much for the donation. I have used the donation to buy another raspberry (without populated P5 connector) so I can start working on support for the Wolfson DAC (which doesn't need any soldering). Unfortunately, the changes for for this card have not yet been pulled into the raspberry kernel - so it is rather difficult to support it as I use a newer kernel than the special version provided by Wolfson.
I agree that piCorePlayer on the raspberry now provides good quality audio (both via HDMI and I2S-DACs but also many USB-DACs are actually working well now - *so please spread the word on the internet in the different forums and review sites you visit that piCorePlayer could be interesting to give a try as a good and inexpensive Squeezebox player.* It would be nice to have even more users as it seems every update of piCorePlayer is downloaded about 700 times, so there are not that many users.
