In 13.2: according to info on the opensuse web site, the perl version is 5.20. And looking at the official SUSE repo http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/13.2/repo/oss/suse/noarch/ I can find for instance the package perl-doc-5.20.1-1.3.noarch.rpm.
We currently only have perl 5.20 support for 32-bit Linux in LMS 7.9. It's only been there for a week or two. I might back-port it to earlier versions once I have more positive feedback.
