I would like to set up the same, but unfortunately I am a newbie regarding Linux and Lirc.
I set up Lirc regarding http://ozzmaker.com/2013/10/24/how-to-control-the-gpio-on-a-raspberry-pi-with-an-ir-remote/. I recorded the remote keys and have a lircd.conf. But what are the next steps? How do I read / transfer the IR-codes to be used by the code above? How can I set up a program /script to execute the code above?
