The perl error is because LMS can only use versions up to 5.21. Somehow the pacman upgrade system knows this so is refusing to upgrade to versions above 5.21. I tried a forced upgrade to v5.22 and discovered that LMS indeed does not function with it so had to downgrade. To get past this without the error, edit the file /etc/pacman.conf as mentioned in my earlier post (not far back from this one - can't remember the post number) 1 x Touch 1 x Radio 1 x Boom 1 x Cubox-i4 Pro SoA as main server and player running LMS 7.9 Lavry DA-10 DAC HP PC as secondary server running LMS 7.9 Starfish Pre-amp : Based on NAIM Heavily modified NAIM NAP 250 Power-amp Behringer DEQ2496 Linn Isobarik DMS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bobertuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30376 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101624 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
