hi Bas Horneman, Your error "usually" indicates that one of your wifi settings is wrong.
What are the Available networks? Your signal quality is poor. Can you move your RPi closer to your wifi router at least while testing. Are there lots of wifi networks on the same channel? I use wifi piCorePlayers all the time. I actually do development piCorePlayer over wifi. The only problems I ever have are: Typos of SSID or password Microwave oven Next door has many access points on channel 11 (or 1).
