There are 2 options in cmdline.txt that affect swap, noswap and
nozswap.
If you are comfortable with ssh and vi try deleting one or both of these
options.

# vicmd
"use vi to delete noswap/nozswap, then save"
# cd
# u1
# pcp rb
--------------------
Effectively this mounts the boot partition, allows you to edit
/mnt/mmcblk0p1/cmdline.txt, save, then reboot.
