"every" wlan adapter should be fine but i found one with an externanl antenna should be the better alternative. And in case of the RPI3 i found its not the Adapter itself its the way you add it to the system that makes the difference. On my first Days i removed the onboard modules (drivers) but in my case that was the wrong way cause (of an systemupgrade???) the drivers were back again and therefore the adapter itself was active again. Now i am using rasbian stretch that uses the newer Device names like wlxmacadress not just wlan0 and wlan1. So no more external Wlan Adapter is using the Devicename WLAN0. Be sure you do it the same way! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DJanGo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1516 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107941 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
