OK...most likely a total noob question. I´m running pCP 2.0 w Squeezelite v1.8-658 successfully on my RPi2. The Pi2 is connected to my external DAC which is able to play files up to DSD 128.
Now let´s assume I would get a new DAC or active speakers with built-in DAC which can only play files up to 24/192. Is there any chance that files higher than 24/192 can be played, too? Can this be achieved via the "max sample rate" field in Squeezelite (if "YES" what would be the correct setting?)? Or anywhere else? Thanks in advance.
