Ok, I've ran the buildme-freebsd.sh script again. I had cd into the sox directory it is in and that's what I'm trying to do, build libogg manually. That's where I'm stuck. I have a working LMS but not very useful due to lacking the main decoders. I couldn't see them alac, faad, lame, sox, etc being shipped for amd64-freebsd-thread-multi which is my arch. So I don't see a choice except to use the official packages or ports however I'd done that in the past to realise the logitech patches being missing, there was still functionally incomplete.
