Hello It seems that it is my DD that is involved. I replaced it with another one, same brand, but bigger, and I no longer have this problem. The DD in question has a switch system at the back, which the other did not. Both are western digital brands, model My book, the first 1TO and the one that works 2TO. To be continued..........
