I attached USB speakers (Harman Kardon Soundsticks) to my Pi to use it with squeezelite. I set the following parameters for squeezelite: Output settings: "hw:CARD=SoundSticks,DEV=0" ALSA setting: 80:4::1: ALSO volume control: PCM This works for hearing the music loud. But when I want to hear the music a little more quit it is not possible. Every volume I set below 20% is the same a 20% and 20% is a little bit loud in the evening.
