Ah, yes, maybe I should explain...
The PSU was a 12v SLA battery system, and I'd charged it up before starting. In the past it would run the system for a good 10hrs before the voltage dropped. However, I'd not used the system for maybe two years and SLA batteries don't like deep discharge, so it's capacity was much reduced. It just didn't dawn on me that the battery would be that rubbish by now...
