I've dug around and can't find any apps that delay the video, not on Android anyway. I read about possible BT lag on rpi3s and issues with wifi, so I tried my rpi4 with ethernet. Exaclty the same results. :-( So, unless there's an exernal BT dongle that supports BT v5 and APTX or whatnot to reduce latency, rpis look to be SOL for using BT with video ...
