Ive be trying to get the script to run as described above but for some reason after i copy paste the script and type :wq then chmod +x /home/tc/sbpd-script.sh nothing seems to happen. What im thinking is that im missing something that will end the script and will save it. This is the first time ive ever messed with scripts and was wondering if someone can take pity on a total noob. I took a couple of screenshots, hopefully someone can spot my mistakes.
