Powersave is indeed a good solution, I use that combined with the -G option to trigger the GPIO that turns the display on and off. As an alternative, if you really want to link it directly to the play state, you could use the 'shell script provided here.' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110277-Feature-request-picoreplayer-Play-state-to-GPIO/page3) I also use that in a player with an LED button to indicate the play state. I could imagine though that if you link this directly to a relais switching the amp the -G option is probably better, because play state changes more often. If there's a small hickup in your internet connection while streaming a radio, for example, it would already switch the amp off and on again (I think many amplifiers will produce an audible plop when switched on). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jeroen2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70418 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113919 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
