I just want to raise this question again to better understand why
Jivelite seems to need to be on the same subnet as the LMS server to
function properly.  I suspect it has to do with autodiscovery of the LMS
server as part of Jivelite's initial setup.  I wonder if adding a way to
specify the LMS server for Jivelite might be a solution (or perhaps that
already exists as an option and I'm unaware of it)?
