I'm trying to get some sort of volume support with my KY-040 rotary working. Tried some python solutions and was not satisfied.
I tried this solution and got only the GPIO keypress to work, but not the rotary: https://blog.ploetzli.ch/2018/ky-040-rotary-encoder-linux-raspberry-pi/ It just receives no signals. The connection is correct as I get it working with python. I also found this but It's based on the rotary_encoder so I need to get it working before: https://github.com/JamesGKent/rotary_volume I'm not sure if anyone got rotary_encoder working with pycoreplayer.
