You are a ALSA expert now. :) Regarding adding multiple squeezelites to pCP, it starts off sounding simple but gets complicated quickly. The initial problem is we use a single *basic* config file pcp.cfg, all the additional settings will need to be stored somewhere and it would require a rethink of what we are doing now? Then all the pCP code is written assuming a single occurrence of squeezelite is running.
