You have something going on here, not sure if it hardware.  Have you
made any manual changes to config.txt?

I would start with a new image.  Unplug everything from the rpi, except
the network cable, and boot it.  Once booted,  connect the topping E30
to a USB2.0 port.  What shows up in dmesg?  Does Alda show the sound
device availiable now?  If it doesn’t work,  I would say you have a
problem with the pi itself.
