DSD is not PCM, since it's a 1 Bit format the overall enveloppe is 6dB. When recording DSD you need to be careful to not exceed this available headroom.
Expect to raise the volume when playing back DSD files. Some player (as Roon) offer to add +6dB of volume when you playback DSD files, not LMS.
