This brings up an interesting question. There must be some reason for 
only allowing X to install on a partition of 8gig or less on some 
machines, but I can't say I know what that reason is. Now I'm wondering 
what might happen if X is moved to a larger partition after the install. 
I'd be inclined to expect some problems down the road.
