Hi again,
Well, it's a while since I played with XPostfacto & after the quite
unstable performance of the G3 card in my 9600/200mp machine, I pulled it &
have gone back to the dual 604e card.
However, I have ut the G3 into the 7600, which seems rock solid -
populated it with 256MB of 128MB DIMMS & got OSX 10.2 onto the machine - so
far so good - lovely & stable, not a crash yet - so, where's the problem
you ask?
Well, I have a 10/100 Realtek 8139 based Macsense PCI card & while
10.2 (& hopefully 10.2.1), see the built-in ethernet after installing the
previous 10.1 driver & another downloaded 10.2 driver, but on reboot after
the install, the network prefs pane only sees the Built-In ethernet. Can
anyone help here, as the old 10.1 driver worked fine.
