blank screen plus November, 17, 20029:21 PM leu3 I have an 8500 with 256 meg of ram, a sonnet g3 450 and I installed a 4 gig drive to put os 10 on to mess around with it. From some of the posts I have read, I may have incompatible ram and the system copied copious files onto the drive then shut down and wont start up at all; even from my system disk, or norton . I then removed the second drive and was rewarded with the same results. how do I get the thing to restart? did I conceivably fry the board or the sonnet? the quizzical art -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup
