Hello, I have a PowerMac 8500 using OS 9.1. I had quite a bit of trouble installing OS 10.1 on my external drive, but I finally got it installed. However, I have a problem that I never had before. When I try to install classic in 10.1, I get the window to start to install 9.1 but after a few seconds I get a repeating bong sound and everything freezes. I have installed 10.1 on two drives before and classic always worked fine. Can anyone help? Thanks
