You're not mentioning what video cards, monitors, etc are attached. It sounds like something's defaulted to 640 x 480, and OSX requires a minimum of 800 x 600. Without knowing what you've got on it, it's really hard to say what to do. If you have a multisych VGA monitor on the internal video, with an adapter set to multisynch, try setting it explicitly to 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 with the switches. Then you can get to the display settings preference pane. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
