Hi! Newbie to the list as I have decided to take the plunge.... :P
I'm sure this is the first question that everybody and their brother asks on this list, but I'm going there anyway.... Back when 10.1 came out, I thot I'd give it a try as I don't mess with OS's until they've been updated... I had issues with installing/using OS9/Classic. I use OS9 on a separate partition, but was somehow under the impression that for OSX to recognize it, it had to be installed/updated/something along with OSX. I gave up and have been doing 9.1 ever since. Now I'm back hoping Jag is everything everybody says it is. I installed OS 10.1 last night using Ryan's utility. This morning I updated (well it was when I left the house... saying it had another 1 1/2 hours to go....) to 10.2. How do I do 9 or make OSX recognize it as 'Classic?' I am planning on going all the way with 9.2.2 this time as well. Thanks!
