No you are not getting any 3D accelleration from the Voodoo card when
in X. There are no drivers available to make it work either. I've
heard a few people talking about "they knew someone who hacked some
drivers to make it work" but like so many rumors no one has ever been
able to produce them when asked. ::chuckles:: its a Voodoo urban myth
;D

Too bad too really because Voodoo used to kick ATI's butt... I finally
sold off my Voodoo 3 and Voodoo 5 and went all ATI now that I'm X only.

I replaced my Voodoos with Rage 128's so I haven't tried the Radeon
7000's but I've heard that you've got to have 9.2.2 to make it run so
if you are on a mac that isn't supposed to be able to go past 9.1
you'll need to get the OS 9 Helper from www.os9forever.com.

Also I've read articles on the web that indicate that the original
Radeon 32Meg for Mac works better than the Radeon 7000. Though the
original Radeon's are a bit hard to find now... seems that even on Ebay
they go for almost the full cost of a 7000.
