There is actually another option to get around OS X's not remembering your keychain stuff when the username is different. Type in the username and password and get the network share to appear on your desktop. Click it and make an alias. Make a folder somewhere easy to access called "Network Shares" or something similar and stick the alias in the folder. Double clicking the alias should mount the share if it isn't mounted, and it will automatically put in your name/password for you. For every new share you use frequently, just do the same thing and put the aliases in the Network Shares folder. This is how I access shares when I'm at home since the network browsing feature doesn't show Windows machines (though it does at work), only Mac machines, and I have DHCP so I don't know their IP addresses.
Hope this helps, Shawn _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
