I'm not too sure about your problem, but why are you using Dave on 10.2.4? You can use Windows File Sharing (in the sharing control panel) on OS X to share your printer with the Windows computer. I would install Gimp-Print because your printer is USB, and sharing over SMB works better when using Gimp-Print, in my experience. Anyways, that should allow you to share both your internet connection and printer with no other software. Oh, and if you tried changing any PC settings to get it to see OS X/Dave, try changin them back and see what happens. You may have disabled DHCP, or Windows XP(if your using it)'s firewall may have disabled something. Hope this helps.
